Setting

Welcome to G.A.I.A. Academy, also known as the Global Association Island Academy. A large artificial island, created by an international movement of countries and other international bodies around the world. On this island, one of the worlds largest school campuses was created to teach a student body of everyone around the world. Not long after the academy inception, springing up around the school a city started to grow. While the island city was not part of the academy the name of the school caused the city to also become known as Gaia City. The island itself is split into 4 main section. These are the School, Residential, Business, and Nature districts.

G.A.I.A. Academy, or the School district is a large sprawling campus with multiply school buildings including an extensive sized dormitory to house those students that have not taken up residence out side of the school. Each of the main school buildings is tailored towards a field of subject, and except in certain case are built to a consistent design.

This Residential district of the city comprises around 80% of the Island cities living area, excluding those of the school itself. Families, Teachers, Workers, and those student who don't not live in the dorms more then likely live here. There is some small business and shops for convenience to the residents but not nearly as manner as the Business district.

This Business district of the Island city, is made up of shops, factories, restaurants, clubs and the docks. Being the mercantile heart of the city, and the centre of most forms of entertainment. Students not living on campus and even many that do will often seek downtime from school in this part of the city.

The Nature district is made up of Beaches, Forests and Plains. Being beyond the growing city, the rest of the Island is a natural paradise. While some sub-urban housing is slowly coming to grow towards it, much of the island is still left as nature intended, or more correctly how it was created when the artificial island was made.

Student Characters who go to G.A.I.A. fall into one of 6 different grades. Starting at high school age, and up into college ages. All of the dorms for the Academy are split into both the year the student is in, as well as between gender.
