The days following the fire in the auditorium where not the best for Jacob Ashgate. He had been forced to remain in hospital for a couple days after. Having been the man most exposed to the fire, the medical staff had wanted to be better safe then sorry. It made sense he knew but it was somewhat aggravating. After he was finally allow to leave, he let nothing stop him from returning to work. Catching up on missed days as best he could but that was not all he had done. During what spare time he had after, Ashgate would have spoken to some other teachers and through them found out who the other students that had helped him. After that he had wrote a few letters. One to each of the three he thanked for his rescue. Edgar, Rei and Cereza.
Once he had finished writing the letters, he would look over his side and see the coat that wasn't his, on the other side of the temporary office. Picking the pen up once more, he started to write a note at the end of one of the letters.
'I feel like what you did the other day is something that cannot be ignored. I thank you most wholeheartedly for your self-actions. If not for you and the other that helped you, it is possible that I could have come to serious harm. For that I thank you. While I am not in charge of everything in side the school, I do have enough influence that if you get into trouble I can possibly prevent any detentions for minor transgressions as a sign of my appreciation for your assistance.
Your Faithfully
Jacob Ashgate.'
Once he had finished writing the letters, he would look over his side and see the coat that wasn't his, on the other side of the temporary office. Picking the pen up once more, he started to write a note at the end of one of the letters.
'P.S. Miss Cereza, I still appear to have your jacket that you used to protect me from the fire. It here in the temp office I have in the science building. Please feel free to come by and pick it up. A thank you once more, and hope that it wasn't damaged by the fire.'He then took each of the letter, put them into envelopes and sealed them, before writing the recipients name on the front in a formal hand. In the case of those in the dorm, he had someone simply delivery it to them direct while those who had home of campus, he had the school reception add on the address and post it. Over then next few days after the deliveries, Ashgate then saw that he remained in the make shift office during non-class hours as much as he could get away with. Just in case the white hatted female student, did drop by to reclaim her jacket like he had offered.
